Newdelhi: Prime minister Narendra Modi and BJP state president Amit Shah will reach Kerala to extend support for the BJP state committee on Sabarimala issue.Modi will reach Kerala on January 15. He will take part in party programmes and meetings. Senior leader Ram Madhav might also arrive at the state. Modi is reaching Kerala on January 15 for the inauguration of Kollam bypass. He will reach again on January 27 in Thrissur to attend Yuva Morcha’s programme. Modi’s visit is relevant considering that he has voiced his support for state BJP's stance on Sabarimala issue.
BJP has decided to intensify protests against the chief minister as CM confirmed that more women have visited Sabarimala temple. The decision was taken at the BJP-RSS meeting held in Kochi on Friday. It is evaluated that the confusion between the central and state leadership has ended when the centre has given green signal for the protests. A march and dharna will be staged by lakhs of people on January 18. BJP is aiming to intensify the protests under the central leadership.
